Dr. Christina Gratkowski was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ursinus College with a degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. Before Dr. Gratkowski received her Doctorate degree in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2019, she worked as an optician and optometric technician in a private optometry practice in order to gain more experience in the field.
During optometry school, she received clinical honors for her primary care, contact lens, and pediatric rotations. She developed a passion for pediatrics and vision therapy which led her to complete additional coursework through the Advanced Studies Program in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy. Since then, she has performed binocular vision evaluations and vision therapy to help patients with strabismus, amblyopia, eye focusing issues, and traumatic brain injury.
Besides Vision Therapy, she also has a passion for Contact Lenses, Dry Eye Management, Glaucoma Management, and Myopia Control. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association.
When she is not caring for patients at the office, you can find Dr. Gratkowski at the CrossFit gym. Her passion for fitness and nutrition inspired her to pursue her Level 1 CrossFit Certification in 2016. Besides training herself, she enjoys coaching others to help promote long-term health and fitness.
