Dr. Christina Gratkowski was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ursinus College with a degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. Before Dr. Gratkowski received her Doctorate degree in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, she worked as an optician and optometric technician in a private optometry practice in order to gain more experience in the field.
During optometry school, she received clinical honors for her primary care, contact lens, and pediatric rotations. She also completed additional coursework through the Advanced Studies Program in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy.
Dr. Gratkowski has a passion for Contact Lenses, Dry Eye Management, Glaucoma Management, Myopia Control, and Nutritional Therapies. She is a member of the Ocular Nutrition Society and the American Optometric Association.
When she is not caring for patients at the office, you can find Dr. Gratkowski at the CrossFit gym. Her passion for fitness and nutrition inspired her to pursue her Level 1 CrossFit Certification in 2016 and her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification in 2022. Besides training herself, she enjoys coaching others to help promote long-term health and fitness. She is currently coaching a weekly nutrition class for athletes at her CrossFit gym. She truly believes that eye health and overall body health stems from a good diet and staying active
